David Henrie is PETE TILLMAN; the jock. His dad is really rich. His & Sophia's parents are best friends, and he's been taking care of her for a long time. Selena Gomez is SOPHIA CASTILLO; the artistic one. She hasn't gone out with a guy since the Sophomore Incident...and other reasons (which we will discover later). Emily Osment is POLLIE REED; the crazy one (we haven't seen much have that but it'll come). She's desperately vying for someone's affections, but it's not working. Sterling Knight is DEREK FORBES; the smart, studious guy. He's a sweet and classy guy, but a complete social retard (pardon the expression lol). Demi Lovato is CHARLEE BURKS; the new mysterious girl. She's got plenty of secrets, which we will be discovering progressively quite soon. She's also the narrator of the story. Joe Jonas is ANDREW STANTON; the trustworthy guy. Charlee feels a special connection to him (which we will see more in the next couple of episodes) Also... Theres Lucas Till as PARKER DUNNAM; Maddie's boyfriend. He's a douche. Really. We will see why later (around the 6th episode). And Danielle Bisutti as CONNIE TUCCI, the school guidance counsellor. She's gonna play a big part in the revealing of Charlees secret(s).
