- Description : A touching tribute to one of my fav...(more)orite movies of all time... "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. A movie about a love so strong, he would go into the depths of hell just to spend a few minutes with his wife.
I was listening to "One Last Breath" from Creed in my car after watching "What Dreams May Come" and started to see scenes from the movie in my mind.....so I made a video to show you what I imagined. Enjoy.
What Dreams May Come Movie Review from the "Orthodox Christian Information Center" (Summarized)
"This movie is unique in that it attempts to portray the experience of a person's soul after death. This is a movie about grief at its most fundamental, and the raw pain caused by the separation at death. In fact, I would not recommend this movie to anyone who recently lost a child or a spouse unless they are firmly grounded spiritually.
This movie gives us a sobering image of the consequences of despair and suicide.
The wife is an artist and the husband ends up in one of her paintings in Paradise. In this painting she adds a beautiful tree which ends up appearing in Paradise. She then despairs and washes the paint from the canvas and the tree loses all of its beautiful flowers. The special effects presented that scene wonderfully. This is a good image of how prayers for the dead find their way to help them and do something beautiful for them, even in the pit."
Comments at Rotten Tomatoes
"The set design, artistic direction, special effects and cinematography of this film are all stunning."

"Vincent Ward taps into the very core of romantic yearning, coming up with an admittedly sappy but no less poignant tale of true, pure love."

"A visual feast not to be passed up and bound to pack an emotional punch for many viewers!"
