• Description : This is a very important video ever...(more)yone. It is a video in memory of Mike. For those of you who don't know on February 17th Mike shattered his pasture bone while out side. With help, love, and support the boarders of Liberty Equestrian Center were able to get Mike inside. They washed off his legs to find the source of the puddles of blood in the mud where he was found. Coming across a nasty puncher wound they called up Brittany, his owner, so a vet could come out and look at him. When the vet arrived she told everyone (note: about the whole barn was waiting to know what was going to happen) that Mike needed to be taken to the Equine hospital in Kentucky, NOW! Everyone banded together to ready Mike for the long hull. Everyone was praying hard for Mike and Britt, but it was not to be. The x-rays showed his bone shattered in five pieces. Mike was humanly put down after he and Britt shared their final hours together and said goodbye. *************************************** Brittany, If your watching this please remember that you gave him a wonderful life. When he was dumped at the rescue you gave him a reason to live. He went on to help you through a lot of hard times and toke you to the winners' circle many times. I'm sorry it ended this way and wish there was something more that could of been done. He loved you above all and don't forget that! You did the right thing and I hope that someday you will have the chance to see him again. We all will miss him greatly and are here for you when you're ready. (less)
