"hey are you okay?" i asked. she looked up at me and she looked BAD!! she had brusies on her face and cuts on her arms and her hair was matted. "umm.. yah" she muttered. "look. i may be a stranger but i've gone through a lot through my life... i went to prison for "kidnapping" my girlfriends friend's daughter.. and now she's dating my brother" i said. "oh my life's worse!!" she challenged. "how?" i asked. "i dont like talking about it.." she said looking down. "oh. sorry" i said. "but for some reason i feel like i can trust you..." she said. "oh." i said. "well you see.... i was just a toddler.. and i only remember being taken by my "cousins" and they just abuse me and my life is worse then hell" she said tearing up. i didn't know what to do so i just comforted her. "it's alright.. whats your name" i asked. "keyla" she answered. i looked at her in the eyes and a smile came across my face. "do you know Paola?" i asked hopefully. she thought for a minute... "it sounds familiar.. but i'm never out of the house.." she replied. "KEYLA!!" i shouted with joy and hugged her. "it's me JOE!!" i said. remember??! you were kidnapped from me and Paola... and then i was accused of taking you!!!" i said "i-i don't know what you are talking about" she said while stepping back. "wh-wh-what?" i said holding the tears back. "i'm Keyla Mason.. i'm raised by my cousins!!" she shouted. "KEYLA!! you were only 5 when you were taken!! you don't remember.. but it's me Joe... and Paola.. she misses you... please... just see her.. once.." i persuaded her. "i dunno..." she said. "just for about an hour... PLEASE!" i begged like a two year old. "hm... well i guess so" she said. we walked back to the house talking about random stuff.
