Here is the reaction from Stéphane Dion to the Speech to the Nation by Stephen Harper that has been held by the last Wednesday December 3rd 2008. As you already know what's happened at Rideau Hall on Thursday 4th 2008, the House of Commons parliamentary works have been prorogued by the Governor General, the Honorable Michaëlle Jean, upon request of the Prime Minister Stephen Harper. In my opinion, Dion should have been more furious compared to what he showed up to us until now. By randomly putting locks on canadian's Parliament doors, the way that works democracy here in Canada is in real danger. On the other side, the quality of Dion's own homemade video was, excuse me for the expression, crap as hell. As of 2 minutes and 40 seconds until the end of the video, you can barely see Dion's chin and you may think that he's drowning progressively. This is really unfortunate for him even if I am really not a Liberal Party fan. I'm now worried about the future of democracy in Canada and I am also worried about how West Canada (especially Alberta) is considering Quebecers within our country. Instead of reuniting the country, Harper divided this country in two parts. The first part is, "ROC" -» Rest of Canada and the other part is "SFF" -» Separatists french frogs. I thank you so much Mr. Harper for what you have done for us. That's what we needed from a Prime Minister. Mr. Harper, if you do think that Mr. Dion is not a leader, I can tell you right now that you aren't a leader neither because you divided this country in 2 parts by categorically refusing to put some economic proposals from LP / NDP / BQ / in your own economic statement. Your only 2 wishes were to, first, satisfy your own power's thirst and then, to give more money to big oil companies and banks that are begging you at the moment because of one of the biggest economic crisis in the world history. Mr. Harper, citizens of Canada don't have to pay for your mistakes and for investors mistakes as well. Mr. Harper, you don't deserve to be a MP (Member of Parliament) and get the hell out of the Parliament because you did put the fire to it by yourself. You try to escape from the Parliament and by requesting the prorogation of the Parliament, I can see in these weirdest events in the modern history of Canada that you scare to face up your own responsabilities.
